Excellent video. Very clear instructions on setting the throttle/govenor. Especially helpful was the part about the lever falling down. That was my problem, and now that I fixed it, it works perfectly. Also helpful was the part on how to check the govenor to see if the gear was broken. Thanks!

What would be the issue if I have trouble getting it out of gear in neutral and reverse? The shifter is very difficult to use

I watched your video about a year ago because I have a Hustler Raptor Limited. But now I have a customer who also has a broken mount. He told me that he dogs it out pretty well. So his belt snapped along with my belt as well. I was wondering why the right side fan was very spacious and the belt just fit right inside there instead of having to loosen the bolt to make that happen. Good video as usual.

I use an old cheap flat blade 10" long screwdriver. Put it in the vice and bent over the end about 3/8" down and then rubbed it all smooth with some fine grit sand paper. Replacing is easy, clean it up and wipe the inside with a drop of oil.

WOuld I use that same bearing for the 7021 front wheel?

My auto kickback problem was a stuck shuttle valve at the valve end of the threaded piece. Knocked out a roll pin at the end of the threads, tapped out a small plug (1/8" approx) and was able to push the valve back and forth from each end after inserting air tool lube in both sides. Got it to move freely enough after a few minutes and reassembled. Works good now! Had the detent sleeve on backwards the first time and it would lock in forward but not reverse. Oops.

Good video...just you should not force multimeter leads into a connecter it can spread the terminals they have probes you can buy that are much thinner and I back probe with them

The funny part is that people in the GM side would rather compare the 6.2 and not the 5.3. The 5.3 is very underpowered for being how new it is.

Most mowers have left hand thread bolts to remove blade, so it's opposite to normal, tighten to loosen or loosen to tighten. Got you now........no it's true

Great video!! I picked up the same mower a few days ago and the mower was slow to crank. The ground wire on the solenoid switch was melting the insulation off the wire too! Long story short; the previous owner had changed the solenoid but used a 4 post where the spade connectors were hot when the key was engaged. This video helped me realize there is a 4 post terminal with one being a ground!

I installed them on my John Deere D155 lawnmower. I notice a small difference in the turning of the lawnmower. Nothing to write home to Mother about. But every lawnmower is different. The only real difference was making small turns, they were easier. Large turns had no effect on turning in my opinion.
